Fall 2012 MOMS Sale, Aug 18, 9 AM, Castle Rock - Price: 1.00 in Castle Rock, Colorado

Mothers of Multiples Society (MOMS) will host its semi-annual MOMS Sale on Saturday, August 18, xxxx, at the Douglas County Events Center, located one mile east of 1-25 at exit 181 in Castle Rock. The public is invited to shop from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Military families, with ID, are invited to shop at 8:00 a.m. Admission price is $1.
The MOMS Sale is the largest nonprofit consignment sale in the Rocky Mountain Region. Proceeds benefit MOMS Community Outreach program, a 501(c)(3) organization providing families of multiples with supplies, clothes, equipment and food. MOMS also donates hundreds of items to other charitable organizations such as Second Chances, LLC, a non-profit operating a children's thrift store and commercial cleaning service to help single mothers and women transitioning from domestic violence and abuse.
Fifteen hundred people will visit the 29,000 square-foot space to shop over 40,000 items of gently-used baby's and children's equipment, toys, clothes, furniture, books, strollers, outdoor toys, swim wear, bikes, sports equipment and more, priced at 50-90% off retail. Over $100,000 worth of merchandise will be sold. Shoppers are encouraged to bring a laundry basket or bag to carry their items. Check, Visa, MasterCard with ID or Cash accepted.
The Douglas County Sheriff's office will be conducting FREE Car Seat Safety Checks during the sale on Saturday, August 18th from 8 AM to 2 PM. Even if you don't buy a car seat at the MOMS Sale, please come visit the Car Seat Safety Check Event to make sure your kids are properly strapped in.
